I am a Florida Board Licensed Acupuncture Physician trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, practicing in the Daytona Beach area for over nine years. My continuing education includes advanced training with the Institute for Functional Medicine, working toward my certification. My passion lies in the integration of these two great medicines, as both are based on the premise of identifying root cause of disease, and using food as medicine. I specialize in treating autoimmune diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal and blood sugar dysregulation.
Working together through education and goal setting, using a patient-centered approach, I help and guide patients to achieve optimum health and wellness. I believe that sharing my knowledge with my patients will empower them to live healthier, happier, more balanced lives-both emotionally and physically.
My goal every day is to practice what I preach. As a mother of 5 (all grown) children, I have experienced first hand the powerful effect of lifestyle and nutrition on health. I love to spend time cooking nourishing foods, being active in nature, and reading health blogs/books!
